I removed hearts for Valentine’s day!
Forever reblog (at least until 2013 Seniors graduate :P ).
This fantastic image (IMO) was created with the help of Ana Crane-Simpson (http://www.appliedcosmeticservices.com/) and Maui Crane Designs at Trust Lounge in Lexington, Kentucky. The model, Miranda Goddard is a client of mine who has just recently started to pursue modeling as a career. This was her second shoot with me.
Last week she auditioned for Knoxville Fashion Week(http://knoxvillefashionweek.com/), and they loved her walk. At 5’10” this young lady of 19 (as of February 11th) just might have what it takes. Let’s pray she makes it to the runway at KFW!
This retouch took a bit longer, and honestly I think I could do a bit better at this zoom level. However, the output for this shot was for prints under 11x14 and for web, so you wouldn’t see the lumpy chin. Anyhow, this is about 4 to 5 hours of retouch for the entire image. This section was probably 2.
Here is what I typically do for a light beauty retouch. It’s about 2 hours of time.
Now this is pretty droolable! Leica has always made some absolutely stunning gear, and I suspect that some day I may add one of their digital range finders to my kit.
